My story

I’m Taylor Robinson, a Licensed Practical Nurse and the creator behind Dishing with Tay. My passion for whole-food living didn’t come from a textbook. It came from years of navigating my own health journey.

For many years I struggled with severe cystic acne, digestive discomfort, chronic inflammation, and a level of daily discomfort I assumed was simply “normal.” For six to seven years, my body was trying to tell me something, and at the time I didn’t yet have the awareness to understand how much everyday lifestyle habits could influence how we feel.

Through that experience, I began learning more about the connection between daily habits and overall wellbeing. I discovered that feeling better often comes from supporting the body with simple foundations like nourishing foods, consistent meals, sleep, hydration, and balanced routines. I also rediscovered the beauty of getting back to basics, shopping the outer aisles of the grocery store, choosing real foods that are minimally processed, and focusing on nourishment rather than perfection.

As I began to feel more balanced in my own body, I started sharing the recipes that helped me feel nourished rather than restricted. I’ve always believed that healthy eating should feel satisfying and enjoyable, not bland or limiting. That belief is what inspired the idea behind Dishing with Tay, creating simple, flavourful meals made with real ingredients.

Today, I bring together my clinical nursing background with a passion for whole-food cooking and lifestyle education. Through my recipes and content, I focus on high-protein, whole-food meals that are gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and designed to be easy on digestion and supportive of everyday wellness.

My goal is to help simplify nourishment by sharing approachable recipes and practical lifestyle habits so people can feel more confident in the kitchen, more steady in their energy, and more supported in their day-to-day wellbeing.
